Facts about Fossil Wood
Appearance / Color: A variety of woods produce a variety of colors.
Properties: It is not generally very suitable for carving owing to pattinations.
Availability: Some trees are rarer than others.
Notes: Currently we have a fossilised coca nut palm which is decorative and looks rather art deco and we have some beautifully patternd deciduous tree fossil. See photos above and below.
